  Re: Guangzhou Shipyard Intl. (GSI)
Dear Sirs,

My name is Jose Larragan (contact details at the bottom of this message) and I hope these lines find you well. I'm a partner at Alta Shipping
Brokers in Madrid. We are a well established company that have over the years been involved in
the contracting of a substantial number of newbuildings in several yards and countries around
the world.

One of our very close and substantial clients for whom we conduct the absolute vast majority
of their bussines both on NB contracting, Second hand sale and purchase and long term
chartering have instructed us on exclusive basis to explore the possible interest of GSI to
look into the construction of 2 different type of ferries.

We are talking of a large (240 LOA) and quite sophisticated ferry and another smaller and
simpler (155 LOA). Our clients are looking to place an order for 1 opt 1 ship of each type.

We are holding outline spec and ga plan of both ships and we would be happy to share same with
you should you think this might be a project of interest to GSI.

Kindly let us know to whom we should direct our query.

Awaiting to hear from you in due course.

Thanking you in advance for your attention.

Best regards
Jose Larragan
