Shanghai Shipyard Co., Ltd, one of the top ship building and repairing bases under the China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), with a long history tracing back to 145 year ago. The shipyard with an area over 1,800,000 square meters. The total quays extend around 2,784m. The company possesses one slipway for vessels up to 100,000T, two floating docks for vessels up to 80,000T and 35,000T respectively, two floating docks for ship repairing up to 100,000T and 40,000T each. With a complete ship building and repairing infrastructure, the company also owns the Shanghai Municipal First Class Qualification for the Steel Structure and Frame Engineering.
The company gradually forms its own characters in shipbuilding and repairing area during its long development with strong technical support and quality control. ISO9001: 2000 certificates are issued by Lloyd’s Register (LR) and China Classification Society (CSS) for the Quality Management System, ISO14001 by CSS for Environment Management System and OHSAS18001 by CSS for Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
