50,000 DWT Semi-submersible Heavy Lift Vessel -- Designed by Marine Design & Research Institute of China

The vessel is designed to be a self propelled, electric driven semi- submersible heavy lift vessel for worldwide operations. It can be used for salvaging and transporting various types of ships,equipment, aircraft, etc which are distressed on the sea. Especially, it can salvage large ships which have 80,000 tonnes` deadweight. It is capable to load and discharge via the float on /float off method floating objects like offshore rigs, dredging equipment, barges, floating plants...

The vessel to be of all welded steel construction., have no bulbous bow, equipped with three Azimuth pod propulsion and DP2 system. Two buoyancy casings are provided above main deck at stern, superstructure to be located at forward.
