| Japanese shipbuilder Kurinoura Dockyard has won an order for a chemical/product tanker from returning Singapore-based Marex Maritime. The 16,000 dwt vessel will have an overall length of 142 m, beam of 22 m and draught of 9.2 m, with delivery scheduled for April 2016. It will be flagged with Singapore and classed by NK. The shipowner placed an order at the yard early last year for a 12,400 dwt chemical/product tanker, which is to be named Marex Moa with delivery expected later this month. |
