| US oil major Chevron has requested an alteration to the Rosebank FPSO under construction at Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI). This was confirmed by HHI, the world’s biggest shipbuilder, in a Korea Exchange filing on 10 April. HHI clinched the Rosebank FPSO order in April 2013. It was due to be ready on 30 November 2016. The project is worth KRW2.157 trillion (USD1.968 billion) and HHI said 8.86% of the FPSO had been completed, with Chevron paying USD72.71 million so far. The Rosebank FPSO is intended to be installed in the Rosebank oil field 175 km off the Shetland Islands, United Kingdom. |
