210,000dwt Newcastle Bulk Carrier -- Designed by Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (SWS)

  • The Vessel to be a single screw ocean going Bulk Carrier having a deadweight of about 210,000 metric tons and to have topside tank, hopper and single side skin in way of cargo space, with forecastle, a stem, a transom stern and open water type of stern frame, a semi-balanced rudder and a fixed pitch propeller directly driven by a slow speed marine diesel engine.
  • The vessel to be suitable for the transportation of coal and iron ore.
  • All accommodations including navigation bridge and propulsion machinery to be located after.
  • Double bottom to be extend between the fore peak bulkhead and the aft peak bulkhead.
  • No.6 cargo hold may be used as water ballast tank (full or empty).
  • Exhaust gas emission from the main engine and auxiliary engines shall comply with the IMO NOx Tier II limit as per Rule and with type approval certificate. To comply with IMO NOx Tier III limit, the NOx treatment system for main engine and auxiliary engines shall be applied.
  • In SOX ECA control area, the Low Sulphur Heavy Fuel Oil (LS HFO) and MGO with viscosity minimum 3cSt shall be used.

  • The Vessel to be a single screw ocean going Bulk Carrier having a deadweight of about 209,000 metric tons and to have topside tank, hopper and single side skin in way of cargo space, with forecastle, a stem, a transom stern and open water type of stern frame, a semi-balanced rudder and a fixed pitch propeller directly driven by a slow speed marine diesel engine.
  • Two Independent IMO Type C LNG tanks to be located aft, just beside the accommodation and above the main deck.
  • The vessel to be suitable for the transportation of coal and iron ore.
  • All accommodations including navigation bridge and propulsion machinery to be located aft.
  • Double bottom to be extend between the fore peak bulkhead and the aft peak bulkhead.
