1200T Self-elevating and Self-propelled Offshore wind turbine Service Unit (DP-2)
The unit to be a Turbine Installation Unit, capable of transporting offshore 8MW wind turbines to the wind farm site from ashore, transitioning from the afloat condition to an elevated construction mode, and install the 8MW turbine structures(Including heavy foundations) with the around-leg crane. The unit could be also uesd as offshore lifting appliance and accomodation support unit. The clear deck area is approx 2800 m2. The platform is sufficiently equipped to remain self contained in an offshore environment for a minimum period of 30 days with respect to fuel, lubes,water, power and food for a full complement of personnel. The accommodation provides spaces for catering and housekeeping for a crew complement of 220 persons., a major crane (1200T) and an auxiliary crane (350t). TIERIII.
